Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday. This was one of the highlights of mine, strange as that may seem =) My siblings and I created this out of frozen snow chunks at my Grandma's, since that snow was horrible packing snow. I think it's special =) Anyone else have some neat memories from this Christmas?

I think my favorite from this year was sitting in the living room stringing popcorn and beads for the tree while my dad read the bestest advent book ever: "Jotham's Journey."
I LOVE Christmas!! The season was especially meaningful for me this year in light of all I learned at XL about the character of God. He gave up SO much to be Emmanuel, God with us.
Isn't He awesome?

My Dad, sister, mom and I went shooting...boy, that was fun. The only other real gun shooting I've done was using clay pigens :P. I was terrible at that so I didn't want to do any more shooting. So this time we got to shoot at targets and that was much more enjoyable considering that they stand still and I take a good amount of time to aim and shoot. I got 7 buls-eyes and good groupings around it the rest of the time. this was probably due to how long it took me to aim...I'm glad they had tables to rest your arms on.
ReplyDeleteAs for Christmas, we had a very small family gathering which is hard on the younger family members, but it wasn't too bad.
the EXCITING news of the week is that my brother and sister-in-law their baby girl last on Jan. 3rd. Tatiana was born through C section and (sorry Sophia that I couldn't go) mom is going up there to help out for a month.
I miss you all. If ever I get the motivation to get caught up on all my writing and emailing, I'll send out an email about Ps. 2.

Hooray for snowmen built with siblings! Heidi, Olivia, and I made one (along with a little reindeer seal)...he was the cutest thing! We gave him little legs. ;) Alas! He melted into nothingness. ='( My Christmas was really special because Tim and Evy got to come up, so we were all together (including Baby Porter!). <3 ANNA!!! I am so happy for you! *sniff* I am sad that you were unable to come, though. Ah, well...perhaps another occasion. =)
